CHOICES!
You pick the type of teacher you wish to work with. Lessons are offered with Master Teachers and Advanced Master Teachers. The type of teacher you choose determines your price. All teachers must audition, pass a music theory test, background check and undergo training through our company. The Master Teacher has a degree in music or the equivalent background. If the teacher does not have teaching experience prior to his/her work with Learn Piano In Your Home, they will attend thorough training seminars and must pass pedagogy tests before teaching with our company.
The Master Teacher will be able to work with advanced students as well as beginner/ intermediate students. A Master Teacher will be able to help the student work towards competitions and festivals if desired. The Advanced Master Teacher has a Masters or Doctorate Degree in Music and at least 8 years of teaching experience. The Advanced Master Teacher will be able to work with students ages 7 and up and will help the students work towards competitions and festivals if desired.
The Advanced Master Teacher option is ideal for those Junior High and High School students looking to major in music in college/university or wanting to perform professionally.
Since the Advanced Master Teacher program is designed for the very serious musician, students of an Advanced Master Teacher are required to take lessons 12 months a year.

FAQs about Lessons for Adults:
How do I enroll in Lessons for Adults?
Simply fill out the online enrollment form. Place your name in the student's box. ... and no, you don't have to tell us your age ... unless you want to!
Can I really learn as an adult? Isn't it better to learn as a child?
Absolutely! Not only can you learn, but you'll be able to learn more complex concepts than a child would. For most adults who haven't taken lessons or any type of classes in awhile, there is an adjustment period that you'll probably go through as you get “back into the swing of things.” But this is temporary, and you'll quickly see how taking small steps week by week soon ads up to giant leaps! We pair our adult students with teachers who are experienced working with adults and understand how to customize a program for an adult.
Can adults take Group Lessons or Rock Band Lessons?
Yes! Now is a great time in your life to start the band or music group you always wanted to!

Recitals
We are known for our recitals!
Learn Piano in Your Home offers an exceptional recital/concert experience for the student. Although participation is not mandatory, each student is strongly encouraged to perform as our recitals are the highlight of the year and serve to provide motivation for even the most "stage shy" student.
Recitals are held in local auditoriums, with a maximum or 40-50 students per show. We use smaller auditoriums and performance halls/rooms to create an intimate, less-threatening atmosphere for our students and their parents.
Winter and Summer recitals are held if there is enough student interest in your area. In addition, we combine recitals with community service by offering organized performing opportunities at nursing homes and retirement apartments.
Trial Lessons
We offer trial lessons for those wishing to meet their teacher before starting regular lessons.
If you wish to have a trial lesson with your teacher, please fill out the enrollment form and indicate this on the form.
Trial Lessons cost $30 for Master Teachers and $45 for Advanced Music Teachers.
All trial lessons are 30-minutes long. Payment must be made online before teacher holds trial lesson.
Following your trial lesson, simply let the office know whether you wish to continue lessons with your assigned teacher or if you would like to meet another teacher.

Tell friends and neighbors about us and recieve a FREE MONTH of lessons once your referred family has completed three months of lessons.
