REQUIREMENTS FOR GROUP CLASSES:
- Minimum of 2 students required for Group Lessons in your home or a studio.
- All Group students must fill out an enrollment form (meaning, the group cannot fill out one form together; each member has to fill out a form).
- Learn Piano In Your Home does not match students with other group members. Please enroll in Group Lessons only when you have at least two students ready to take the lessons together. Ask friends, neighbors and family to join you!
- Students must own/rent the instrument they wish to learn. Your instructor will not provide instruments for you to play on
- In order for all students to have a beneficial lesson experience, students should be grouped based on similar age and skill levels. Keep in mind that a 5-year-old will learn at a different pace than a 10-year-old. If you are unsure if the age levels and/or skill levels of your potential group members are a good match, simply give our office a call or email.

FAQs about Group Lessons:
How do I enroll in Group Lessons?
Simply fill out the enrollment form once your group has been assembled. Be sure to mark “Group Lessons” when chosing your Teacher Type.
If there are three people in my group, and we take 30-minute lessons, would I only get 10 minutes of instruction?
This is a common question. You will be learning and actively involved for the entire lesson. Your instructor will not simply do 3 private lessons in 30 minutes. Rather, all three students will be learning for all 30 minutes. Students will learn from each other, augmenting the learning experience.
What is the difference between the Group Lessons and the Rock Band Lessons?
There really is no difference. Rock Band Lessons are simply group lessons with a special name. The only difference between a Rock Band teacher and a Group Lesson teacher is that the Rock Band teacher must be able to teach up to four instruments.
I want to enroll my child in Music For Little Mozarts lessons. How do I know if he or she is ready?
In general, students should be able to read numbers 1-5 and letters A-G. Students should also be potty trained and be able to carry on a conversation.
If my child is 6 years old and we want to enroll her in group lessons, do we have to enroll in the Music for Little Mozarts program, or can we do “regular” piano lessons?
Learn Piano In Your Home specializes in offering choices to our customers. You have the option of enrolling your child in the program you want him or her to be in.

Recitals
We are known for our recitals!
Learn Piano in Your Home offers an exceptional recital/concert experience for the student. Although participation is not mandatory, each student is strongly encouraged to perform as our recitals are the highlight of the year and serve to provide motivation for even the most "stage shy" student.
Recitals are held in local auditoriums, with a maximum or 40-50 students per show. We use smaller auditoriums and performance halls/rooms to create an intimate, less-threatening atmosphere for our students and their parents.
Winter and Summer recitals are held if there is enough student interest in your area. In addition, we combine recitals with community service by offering organized performing opportunities at nursing homes and retirement apartments.
Trial Lessons
We offer trial lessons for those wishing to meet their teacher before starting regular lessons.
If you wish to have a trial lesson with your teacher, please fill out the enrollment form and indicate this on the form.
Trial Lessons cost $30 for Master Teachers and $45 for Advanced Music Teachers.
All trial lessons are 30-minutes long. Payment must be made online before teacher holds trial lesson.
Following your trial lesson, simply let the office know whether you wish to continue lessons with your assigned teacher or if you would like to meet another teacher.

Tell friends and neighbors about us and recieve a FREE MONTH of lessons once your referred family has completed three months of lessons.
